A born and bred Mainlander, Duncan lived abroad for many years, returning to New Zealand in 2017, with his wife, to raise his young family.

Duncan began his Engineering career in New Zealand on the tools, moving to London, where he gained experience in a broad range of sectors.

Duncan is an award-winning Senior Leader & Project Director with the capabilities to lead and succeed in all challenging engineering environments. With over 20 years’ experience, Duncan possesses proficient communication skills to liaise with clients, third party stakeholders, and his own staff to deliver exceptional outcomes. He has experience in construction related works within Rail/Tunnelling, Highways/Roads, Waste Water, Airport Projects and Manufacturing.

In 2021 Duncan embarked on the next chapter in his career as the Director and Founder of XL Strategy
